Teacher Note - ‘UNASSISTED’ ASTTLE WRITING
The children write for a total of 40 minutes. Within that timeframe they have to plan their writing (a brainstorm) write, edit and re-craft their work. They are not allowed to use dictionaries or word cards. The students completed their writing on paper but have typed it out for their blogs.

I have a pool and it is reg big and it is reg deep and getting and the donut and it was fun and fhere was heaps of floating noodles and I went out . lt was a speual swim with mg family.

Science

 We have been doing lots of science activities this term. Today we made simple circuits using a battery, wires, LED lights and play dough.

My Mum

My mum she has a bright light face and my mum has big brown eyes and long dark hair. Mum always hugs and kisses me in bed. She is a nurse. I like to go shopping with mum at Pak n Save. My mum is the best mum because she's so nice to me and always kisses and hugs me even when I go to school.

Anzac Day

We remember the soldiers because they were in the war. were in the war. We wear poppies on Anzac Day . Lest we to forget.

My Birthday

On my birthday I went to my we wen to my my nanas. I got some lollies from nan. We went to go to the park.

I went fishing on nans boat. I caught two big fish.

It was my first time on a boat. I was sick when I got off the boat. 

Dear Future Me

We have been learning about the America's Cup Yacht Race. WALT set goals for our future self. Peter Burling was the youngest helmsman NZ has ever had. He set a goal when he was 11 to race in the America's Cup when he grew up. I am setting myself a goal for 'My Future Self'.

Water Fun Day

Whaea Deb helped me make a video of me reading my writing about our Water Fun Day.

I am learning to solve basic facts to 10 and I am learning to write simple sentences independently.

Tsunami Evacuation

 Today we went home early because a big tsunami wave was going to come. We all went on a big hill for safety.
